Cow Town Auto Sales And Service is looking for a skilled, dependable Automotive Mechanic Technician to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. You will handle routine vehicle maintenance, mechanical repairs, advanced diagnostics, and component replacements across a variety of light-to-medium-duty vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostic troubleshooting, service, and mechanical repairs on customer and inventory vehicles.
- Diagnose engine, transmission, electrical, brake, suspension, and steering systems using diagnostic scanners and technical software.
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fluid flushes, brake jobs, tire rotations, and component replacements.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify safety concerns or required repairs and clearly explain technical findings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop workspace while adhering to all safety guidelines and shop protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician/mechanic in an auto dealer or independent repair shop setting.
- Strong working knowledge of automotive mechanical systems, OBD-II diagnostic tools, and repair software.
- Own set of basic tools preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Salary : $700 - $1,500
