Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Take accurate orders from guests in person or via POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring prompt and friendly service.
• Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing tasks with excellent time management skills to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations, following food safety and food handling protocols.
• Upsell beverages and promote specials to increase sales while providing knowledgeable recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, perform basic math calculations for billing, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Ensure compliance with all health regulations related to food safety, alcohol service laws, and responsible beverage service practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender or waitress in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems; familiarity with cashiering and retail math is beneficial.
• Demonstrated expertise in cocktail preparation.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Ability to manage time effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in serving food and beverages.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures required by health regulations.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing calculations, and retail math proficiency.
• Strong communication skills in English; previous hospitality or restaurant experience is highly valued.
