Production Associate I

This position will be responsible for the daily production of critical, time-sensitive mail pieces with a focused emphasis on the timely execution of contractual agreements with our clients. The position will include both manual processes of sorting mail and machine operation of digital printing and mailing equipment, as part of the daily requirements of production

• Attention to detail in relation to mail sorting.

• Prepares and verifies all necessary documentation for daily mailings.

• Monitors and executes Service Level Agreements (SLA's).

• Monitors supplies and notifies Site Manager when supply is low.

• Adheres to all departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

• Keep all work areas clean and presentable.

• Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in print or mail production environment preferred.

Work is performed in a climate controlled indoor warehouse setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, depending upon production machinery operations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate. The employee occasionally is required to remain stationary. The employee is frequently required to move about the office, operate a computer and other office machinery, such as calculator, copy machine, and computer printer; frequently position self to maintain files; frequently moves boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. The employee is frequently required to operate heavy machinery and/or power tools. Close and distance observation required with ability to observe objects at close range in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Must possess the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and have the ability to interact with external and internal stakeholders.
