The Environmental Services technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment within assigned outpatient clinics. This position requires traveling between clinic locations each evening to perform routine cleaning and disinfection of patient, staff, and public areas. The EVS Technician plays a vital rale in infection prevention, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Sweep, mop, and maintain all hard-surface flooring
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms, waiting areas, nursing stations, offices and breakrooms
- Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, countertops, and touchpoints
- spot clean walls, doors, windows, and glass surfaces as needed
- Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures
- Restock toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels and other supplies
- Other duties as assigned
Position: Full Time; Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; Short- and Long-term Disability; 401A.
Requirements: Must have current Mississippi Driver License with no active restrictions or violations. Experience preferred.
Salary : $32,806 - $44,730
