Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their academic and Biblical foundational years. Additionally, this is a Christ centered preschool for 3&4 year olds located on a Church campus.
Duties
- Design and implement dynamic curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating early intervention strategies, Montessori methods, and age-appropriate activities.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management techniques that promote respect, cooperation, independence, and a love for Jesus and others.
- Deliver engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and overall childhood development to stimulate cognitive and motor skills.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, conduct assessments, and communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all children under your care by adhering to childcare standards, child welfare policies, and daycare regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that enhance classroom experience, promote learning environments, and support early childhood education best practices.
Skills
- Experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and teaching physical education within preschool or daycare settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and educational strategies.
- Proficiency in curriculum development.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to manage behavior constructively while fostering a nurturing environment that supports child welfare.
- Experience working with preschoolers in a Christ centered educational environment is highly desirable.
