Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Bouncer to join our security team. We are searching for someone to pick-up shifts for special events/weekends throughout the year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons while ensuring compliance with venue policies. This role requires strong conflict management skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations that may arise in a nightlife setting.
Duties
- Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure the safety of guests and staff
- Conduct ID checks to verify the age of patrons entering the venue
- Manage crowd control and ensure compliance with venue rules and regulations
- Respond promptly to incidents, including altercations or emergencies, utilizing conflict resolution techniques
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities within the venue
Skills
- Proficient in conflict management and de-escalation techniques
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR practices; certification is a plus
- Military experience is an asset but not required
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in high-stress situations
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
