Duties
- Continuously monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules
- Respond promptly to water emergencies with water rescue techniques and medical aid as needed
- Conduct regular pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment checks to maintain optimal water quality
- Provide exceptional guest services by assisting visitors with pool rules, directions, and safety instructions
- Deliver water safety instruction and educational programs for guests of all ages, especially children
- Prepare incident reports and communicate effectively with emergency responders during medical or safety incidents
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming the pool floor, and maintaining surrounding areas
Experience
- Certification from American Red Cross
- Certified in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and basic first aid protocols
- Knowledge of water rescue response techniques and public safety procedures in aquatic environments
- Experience working with children and delivering water safety instruction is highly desirable
- Familiarity with pool maintenance routines including chemical testing and equipment upkeep
- Ability to perform heavy lifting related to pool cleaning supplies or equipment when necessary
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- If you do not have your certification it is 200 dollars to become certified and we can host it at the pool
Pay: $11.33 per hour
