Position: Parts Assembly Technician
Location: Catoosa, Oklahoma
Position: Fulltime - Mon-Fri – 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
This position will overhaul, repair, and assemble high quality aviation parts that must meet Company and industry standards. Quickly and accurately interpret technical manuals to ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols. Efficiently receiving, storing, and distributing aviation parts while minimizing damage and inventory errors.
1. Parts Assembly
What does it take:
a. Consistently following OEM manuals and Company requirements to create a quality product.
b. Maintaining precise measurements and tolerance during production.
c. Troubleshooting and fixing any issues during the building process.
d. Maintain acceptable production output.
e. Maintain acceptable quality of work.
2. Understanding Manuals
What does it take:
a. Regularly studying and updating knowledge on the latest manuals and specifications.
b. Practicing skills to reference and implement instructions effectively.
c. Participating in training sessions on manual updates and aviation regulations.
3. Good Parts Handling
What does it take:
a. Implementing proper handling techniques to safeguard parts from damage.
b. Regularly auditing part inventories in your work area.
c. Coordinating with the stockroom for parts required to perform your job function.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position requires moderate to heavy physical effort and lifting requirement up to 50 pounds.
Note: Specialty tooling is supplied by the company, however standard hand tools such as but not limited to safety wire plyers, socket sets, torque wrenches, and hammers will be required to perform your job task and will not be supplied by the company.
A valid driver’s license along with the ability to work overtime as required by the area supervisor. This position may require travel to another location for training opportunities.
