Covey Security is hiring a full-time Gatehouse Security Officer for a commercial facility in Gilbert, Arizona. This position is responsible for managing access control and processing inbound and outbound commercial truck traffic in a professional, customer-focused environment.
Schedule (Full-Time):
- Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Requirements:
- Active Arizona DPS Guard Card (required – do not apply without it)
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Clean driving record (minimum 3 years, no major violations)
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and computers
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Strong communication and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Process inbound and outbound commercial truck traffic
- Verify driver credentials, shipping documents, and deliveries
- Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Follow established site access control procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and reports
- Provide a professional, visible security presence at the gatehouse
