Covetrus Pharmaceuticals is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Entry-Level Staff Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support laboratory operations and assist in various scientific and technical activities. Other duties may be assigned. Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials for experiments and testing. Assist senior technicians and scientists in conducting experiments, analyses, and data recording. Perform routine laboratory tasks such as sample preparation, pipetting, and basic instrument operation. Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and observations. Follow laboratory safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development activities. Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework in a relevant field (e.g., biology, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences) is preferred CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES) Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges. Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
