What are the responsibilities and job description for the User Experience Designer position at Coverable?
We’re planning a focused UI overhaul. You’ll lead the redesign of core workflows and introduce a cohesive, accessible design system. You’ll collaborate with our product lead and engineering to deliver developer-ready assets fast.
Responsibilities:
Run a rapid UX audit and heuristic evaluation of current app
Map and simplify core user journeys (intake, folder systems, drafting, review)
Create wireframes → high-fidelity responsive mocks in Figma
Define a lightweight design system
Partner with engineering to hand off specs and iterate during build
Conduct 3–5 quick usability tests with target users
Requirements:
4 years in product design for B2B SaaS
Strong Figma skills; components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping
Demonstrated experience simplifying complex workflows
Portfolio with shipped examples and rationale/case studies
Strong communication with cross-functional partners
Nice to have:
Legaltech experience
Designing rich text/document editors
Engagement details:
Contract, 8–12 weeks, ~20–30 hrs/week
Remote, US time-zone overlap preferred
Start: December 2025
