We are currently seeking a proactive Sales & Licensing Associate to drive sponsorship and promotional partnership opportunities for hololive production talents within the North American market!
Role Details & Compensation
- Position: Sales & Licensing Associate
- Classification: Full-Time Employee, Non-exempt
- Location: Glendale, CA office. [Hybrid/Remote eligible if approved]
- Compensation: Equivalent to $33.66 – $43.27 per hour
- Additional Pay: Discretionary Annual Bonus
- Benefits: Health Insurance, Simple IRA, PTO, Paid Holidays
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 10am to 7pm (Occasional evenings/weekends with advance notice and manager approval).
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and pitch new promotion and collaboration opportunities for hololive production talents in North America.
- Ideate creative promotional concepts and draft scripts for live streams, short-form videos, and product reviews.
- Serve as the point of contact between legal, finance, supervision, and talent managers to ensure smooth execution of promotional projects.
- Support the team through the deal term process from initial outreach to financial negotiation, and follow up with post-activation performance stats.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in influencer marketing, brand partnerships, or business development within the North American entertainment or gaming sector.
- Proven experience in scriptwriting, talent activation management, or managing multi-stage projects involving various stakeholders.
- Experience managing project budgets and performing ROI analysis based on performance data.
Preferred Qualifications
- A genuine passion for VTubers, Japanese subculture, and the hololive production fandom!
- An existing network of potential marketing agencies and clients in the NA market.
- Proficiency in Japanese in addition to the required English is a strong plus.
