We are seeking a strategic Business Data Analytics Intern to drive our data-driven decision making as we scale toward IPO. This role will serve as the analytical engine behind Cover Genius's continued growth, reporting directly to the CFO and providing critical insights across our global operations. You'll be instrumental in optimizing our business performance, foreign exchange analytics, unit economics, partnership analytics, and customer protection journeys across 60 countries.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide data-driven insights on revenue drivers, customer profitability, claims ratios, and unit economics by partner, insurer, geo and unit.
- Define business analytics roadmap aligned with CFO priorities and business strategy.
- Partner with the CFO to define and track financial and operational KPIs that matter most to the business.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and models to support board reporting, investor relations, and strategic decision-making.
- Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making across Finance and the wider organization.
- Ensure Finance has access to clean, reliable data and be able to analyze the business performance and financial data.
- Own the finance analytics stack, including dashboarding, reporting tools, and self-service capabilities.
- Review and analyze the data reports and trouble shoot issues with the dashboards and data.
- At least one or two years in business analytics, FP&A, or data strategy, ideally in fintech/insurtech/technology companies.
- Comfortable working directly with different stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics, SaaS/insurance unit economics, and profitability levers.
- Advanced skills in SQL, BI tools, and financial analysis in Excel is a must.
- Excellent communication skills — able to distill complex analyses into clear insights for executives.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field including data science, data analysis or software engineering, A postgraduate degree and/or record of academic achievement is also desirable.

- The cash compensation range for this role is $30 - $40 per hour.
