Inside Sales Specialist

The Inside Sales Specialist oversees the full sales support cycle and uses independent judgment to evaluate customer needs, prepare and approve quotes, and guide homeowners and pool builders through the sales process. This role requires strong customer facing sales skills, the ability to interpret technical product information, and the discretion to make decisions that support revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational alignment.

Responsibilities

• Exercise independent judgment when qualifying leads, assessing project needs, and determining appropriate solutions

• Manage all inbound and outbound customer communication and ensure timely, accurate follow up.

• Prepare, review, and approve quotes based on project specifications and company guidelines.

• Maintain ownership of customer records, sales activity, and pipeline management within the CRM system.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, builders, and internal teams to support long term business growth.

• Coordinate with field technicians and operations leadership to ensure alignment on project requirements and customer expectations.

• Provide expert guidance on Cover Care products, installation processes, and service requirements.

• Analyze sales trends, identify opportunities, and recommend improvements to sales processes and customer experience.

• Support revenue growth through proactive engagement, strategic follow up, and high quality customer service. 

• Participate in cross functional planning and contribute to departmental decision making.

• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

• Previous inside sales experience with phone and email based selling. 

• Strong customer service and relationship building skills.

• Experience with lead qualification, sales followup, and account management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to use CRM or sales software to manage pipeline and reporting.

• Ability to learn and communicate technical product information clearly.

• Experience in service, construction, home improvement, pool, or other technical industries preferred.

• Ability to work onsite in Westfield, Indiana and collaborate with cross functional teams.High school diploma required, additional business or technical education preferred.

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
