Summer Engineering Intern – Manufacturing (Automatic Pool Covers)
Looking to gain hands-on engineering experience this summer? Join our team and work directly with engineers and production staff in a manufacturing environment focused on automatic pool cover systems.
This summer internship provides real-world exposure to product development, testing, and process improvement—giving you the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to real products used every day.
What You’ll Learn & Do

Build and test prototypes used in production

Assist with product testing and learn how to document and analyze results

Help design and create fixtures and tools that improve manufacturing efficiency

Work on the production floor to troubleshoot issues and support process improvements

Gain exposure to quality control and lean manufacturing practices

Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams on active projects
What We’re Looking For

Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field

Interest in hands-on, shop-floor engineering work

Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools

Ability to read technical drawings (or willingness to learn)

Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn

Team-oriented with good communication skills

CAD experience (e.g., SolidWorks) is a plus
