Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team in creating memorable experiences for our guests. As an essential part of our events management team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations during various events, providing exceptional customer service, and enhancing guest satisfaction. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and have a passion for hospitality and event coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all areas are prepared for guest arrival.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Support event management by coordinating activities and ensuring timelines are adhered to.
• Facilitate food service during events, including setup, serving, and cleanup.
• Manage conflicts or issues that may arise during events with professionalism and poise.
• Act as a representative of the organization, promoting a positive image while interacting with guests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless experience for all attendees.
• Engage in public speaking as needed to communicate important information or instructions to guests.
• Monitor activities to ensure safety protocols are followed, especially in roles involving children or aquatic environments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or guest services is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with events management processes is a plus.
• Experience in food service or hospitality settings is beneficial.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively.
• Excellent public speaking abilities to communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
• Background in theater or performance arts can enhance engagement during events.
• Lifeguard certification is preferred for roles involving water activities or children’s events.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
• A passion for creating enjoyable experiences for guests of all ages.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
