Position: 2nd Shift CustodianReports To: Director of Physical PlantPosition Summary: The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of school buildings and grounds, including classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.Responsibilities Include: Cleaning classrooms, lavatories, hallways, and other school areas;Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and emptying trash;Maintaining floors, including stripping and waxing as needed;Operating floor cleaning and maintenance equipment;Ensuring restrooms and supply dispensers are stocked;Assisting with snow and ice removal from walkways and entrances;Performing exterior cleaning, including picking up litter and basic grounds maintenance;Moving furniture and equipment for school activities and events;Assisting maintenance staff when needed;Helping prepare areas for classes and special events;Performing other related duties as assigned.Qualifications: High school diploma or GED;Valid drivers license (preferred);Prior custodial or related experience preferred;Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety procedures;Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and move for extended periods;Ability to bend, squat, and twist regularly during an 8-hour shift;Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds;Ability to operate custodial equipment and climb ladders when necessary.**Full Job description available upon request** - Hours are 7:00 pm to 11:00 pmPay and Benefits per Contract
