We are currently seeking for experienced Kitchen and Bath Designers at all of our locations: Coventry, RI, Wareham, MA, and West Haven, CT.
Responsibilities include:
- Meet with clients to discuss their kitchen design needs and preferences
- Use basic math skills to accurately measure and calculate dimensions for kitchen layouts
- Create detailed kitchen designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with clients to select materials, finishes, and fixtures for their kitchen
- Provide product recommendations and assist with the selection of appliances, cabinets, countertops, and other kitchen components
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients, including cost estimates and timelines
- Coordinate with contractors and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee the installation process and address any issues or concerns that arise
- Maintain organized records of client projects, including design plans, contracts, and invoices
- Work with the inside and outside sales staff to generate new sales leads via telephone, electronic and in-person communication.
- Coordinate and schedule on and off-site meetings with both new and existing customers, serving as a dependable point of contact throughout the experience.
- Also responsible for managing material orders with suppliers, including submission, review, and confirmation of all orders within the operating system.
- Must stay current with new product offerings.
Qualifications include:
- Associate's Degree or 2 years college preferred.
- 2-5 years in a Kitchen and Bath Design position, or very closely related field preferred.
- Ability to sell products and services effectively to clients
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented.
- Telephone customer service experience preferred.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced computer skills.
- Experience using 2020 Technologies design software.
- Experience in BisTrack order entry systems and Microsoft Office.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
- Every other Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM (based on customer volume)
