JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a professional, energetic, and highly organized On-Site Community Manager to serve as the day-to-day management presence at a growing residential community in the Winchester, Virginia area.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, coordinating community operations, and helping create a welcoming and well-maintained neighborhood.
THE POSITION
The On-Site Community Manager will serve as the primary on-site point of contact for homeowners, residents, vendors, contractors, and the Association’s management team.
The ideal candidate will be professional, approachable, dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day community operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Serve as the visible, on-site representative of the Association and management company.
· Provide excellent customer service and respond professionally to homeowner questions and concerns.
· Monitor the community’s common areas and identify maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and operational issues.
· Conduct regular community inspections and follow up on items requiring attention.
· Oversee day-to-day operations of the clubhouse, fitness center, pool, and other community amenities.
· Coordinate with vendors and contractors and monitor work being performed within the community.
· Assist with clubhouse and amenity reservations, access, and scheduling.
· Help establish and maintain appropriate procedures for use of community amenities.
· Monitor amenity access and report unauthorized use, damage, or other concerns.
· Coordinate with the management office regarding homeowner requests, violations, maintenance issues, and other Association matters.
· Maintain accurate records, logs, schedules, and other community documentation.
· Assist with community events, meetings, inspections, and other Association activities.
· Communicate important community information to residents as directed by management.
· Work cooperatively with the Board of Directors, developer representatives, management staff, vendors, and residents.
· Identify potential problems before they become larger issues and take a proactive approach to community management.
· Perform other duties necessary to support the successful operation of the community.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have:
· Previous experience in HOA, property management, community management, hospitality, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
· The ability to work independently and make sound decisions within established guidelines.
· A professional, friendly, and customer-service-oriented personality.
· Strong attention to detail.
· The ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities.
· Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use management software.
· The ability to interact professionally with homeowners, vendors, contractors, and Board members.
· A willingness to be visible and engaged within the community.
HOA/community management experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. We are willing to train a motivated individual who has strong customer-service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
