Role Description The Driver Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in Chattanooga, TN, responsible for attracting, screening, and hiring qualified professional drivers in alignment with Covenant’s staffing needs and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing candidates through multiple channels, conducting interviews, assessing qualifications, and coordinating pre-employment processes such as background checks and compliance verifications. The role actively supports driver retention efforts by maintaining strong relationships with drivers, addressing concerns, and collaborating with operations and safety teams to improve the driver experience. The Driver Recruiter also ensures recruitment practices align with DOT and company policies, maintains accurate candidate records in recruiting systems, and contributes to continuous improvement of hiring strategies.
