The Life Enrichment Coordinator / Driver is responsible for providing safe transportation for residents while supporting a vibrant activities program that promotes social engagement, wellness, independence, and overall quality of life. This role serves as a key contributor to creating meaningful experiences for residents through transportation services, activities, events, and community outings.

Compensation Pay Range
$14.44 - $18.80 per hour

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $14.44 - $18.80 per hour. This role serves as a key contributor to creating meaningful experiences for residents through transportation services, activities, events, and community outings.
Essential Responsibilities
- Drive the community van for scheduled appointments, outings, and resident activities.
- Assist residents safely onto and off the vehicle and escort them to their destination when needed.
- Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of life enrichment programs and activities for residents.
- Encourage resident participation in social, recreational, educational, cultural, and wellness programs.
- Assist with setting up, facilitating, and cleaning up activity events and community gatherings.
- Develop positive relationships with residents and provide companionship and engagement opportunities.
- Accompany residents on community outings and special events, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
- Maintain attendance records and activity participation logs as directed.
- Notify supervisor of vehicle maintenance or repair needs.
- Complete vehicle inspection checklists and monitor fuel levels before each trip.
- Monitor and comply with vehicle inspection and maintenance schedules.
- Help maintain a safe community environment by identifying and reporting hazards.
- Clean the interior and exterior of the van on a regular basis.
- Assist with decorating common areas for holidays, special events, and community celebrations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support resident engagement and quality of life.
- Required Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certificate(s): Valid Driver’s License and CDL License, if applicable
- Experience: 2 Years
- Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office/community setting.
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate various equipment base on department and weather conditions
- Engaging in repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers – typing and/or writing.
- Clarity of Vision
- For near visual acuity Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.
- For Far visual acuity, Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. This is not just the ability to see a person or object, but the ability to recognize features as well.
- For peripheral vision, observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
