Overview
Covenant Home Health is rapidly expanding, and we are looking to hire a Registered Nurse for the Tulsa and surrounding areas. We work with patients of all ages and backgrounds who require daily care in their homes. Most of our patients are elderly and/or terminally ill, so we hire the most compassionate and thoughtful talent in the field. You will be responsible for managing a heavy caseload, so time management skills are essential. However, it is important to provide each patient with the time and attention necessary to meet his or her needs. Duties
- Assess and monitor patients' health status and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assess patients’ condition during every visit and chart your observations.
- Provide urgent care services as needed, ensuring timely intervention for patients.
- Document patient information accurately using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Assist in specialized areas such as PICU or dialysis when required.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians, and anyone else involved in the patient’s care plan.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- At Least 1 year of experience working as an Advantaged Nurse
- Experience in senior care, acute care, or memory care preferred.
- Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and aseptic practices.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Ability to handle urgent situations calmly and efficiently.

- Ability to travel to multiple patients per day.
