Full-time, non-exempt

Day Shift – hybrid (remote)

Location: (Hybrid/Remote) - will be required to occasionally travel on-site for team meetings/professional development

1447 N. Harrison Street, Saginaw, MI 48602 – will need to be somewhat local to the Bay City area

Candidates must have the following:

Certification: RHIA, RHIT, or CCS credential required.

Eligible Bachelor or Associate Degree graduates will be considered (expectation is that candidate must pass the national exam)

Experience:

Acute care inpatient coding experience preferred (inpatient diagnosis, inpatient procedures coding utilizing ICD10CM/ICD10PCS coding books and references).

Clinical documentation knowledge for inpatient coding strongly preferred.

Overview:

The Health Information Management Coder Inpatient Level 2 provides timely and accurate clinical and administration data to ensure optimal reimbursement for inpatient, rehab and/or skilled nursing coding to support the facility needs. Primary patient contact is only social.

Professional services candidate may code for:

Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Critical Care, CRNA, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology (GI), Hospitalists, Neurology, Neuro Hospitalist, Neuro Surgery, Observation, Oncology - Medical & Surgical, Orthopedics & Podiatry, Pediatric Surgery & GI, Plastic Surgery, Pulmonary Critical Care, Radiation Therapy, Surgical Specialists, Urology, and Wound Care/Hyperbaric Therapy

Starting Salary:

$23.49/hour - starting (increases with certification/experience)
