Position Summary
Responsible for leadership and directs overall operations, including planning, operational objectives, and related administrative matters. Plans operations and coordinates with directors. Develops and oversees team leaders. Resolves conflicts between groups and individuals. Analyzes and evaluates staffing, goals, and objectives, budgets, financial strategies, and operating functions for areas of responsibility. Reports to President-Chief Administrative Officer of respective facility.

Master's degree in related field required.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years of experience in healthcare leadership position; experience in financial analysis of revenue generating clinical departments.

Responsibilities
- Directs overall planning and operations for support and ancillary services.
- Serves as a member of the senior leadership team. Develops goals and objectives, and establishes and implements policies and procedures for organization as a part of the team.
- Works with other Vice Presidents to continue to plan and effect changes that allow Covenant Health to be competitive in a changing healthcare market.
- Responsible for developing and implementing and evaluating of contracted services performed within Covenant Health.
- Networks with other Support Services administrators to keep abreast of changes in the market.
- Markets Support Services through community involvement, presentations, and networking.
- Ensures compliance with the Joint Commission and state regulatory requirements.
- Facilitates effective operations by acting as liaison to other areas. Serves on committees and cross-organizational teams to integrate organizational objectives.
- Maintains fiscal integrity and control.
- Ensures efficient, economic, and quality performance of assigned areas of responsibility to support or provide quality health care services.
- Mentors and develops leaders and employees for further responsibilities and growth.
- Monitors and promotes improvements in outcome measurements.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
