At our Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, women can have their annual mammograms, biopsies, and can meet with a nurse navigator if needed. The Women’s Center offers six newly remodeled labor and delivery suites and has a secure nursery for the care of our newborns. Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist, provides treatment programs for physical therapy patients. Monitors patients' progress and modifies treatment plans as per the physical therapist.
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience
None, One (1) Year Experience Preferred.
Licensure Requirement
Licensed in the State of Tennessee. CPR required. Professional organization membership preferred.

Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist, provides treatment programs for physical therapy patients. Monitors patients' progress and modifies treatment plans as per the physical therapist.
- Administers treatment programs, including specialized treatment.
- Monitors patient progress and makes recommendations accordingly to the physical therapist.
- Documents patient progress in medical records for assigned patients.
- Provides input for patient care and discharge planning with other health professionals.
- Supervises technicians assigned to his/her team.
- Adheres to the "Definition and Utilization of the Physical Therapist Assistant" as stated in the current American Physical Therapy Association policy.
- Coordinates activities with other team members, physicians, and various hospital departments.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
