**Description** The Nursing Technician performs basic patient care by assisting in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse. Or A graduate of a professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation. After one year will be demoted to a non-licensed position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
