Position Summary
Greets, assists and directs all incoming telephone calls, visitors and other customers.
- Answers telephones, routes callers, takes messages and provides routine information to callers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Greets customers, visitors and/or patients and provides direction. Ascertains the nature of their business; assists visitors and other customers to various locations on the FSW campus when appropriate.
- Responds immediately to requests, inquiries and concerns. If cannot satisfy the member, finds the appropriate person who can.
- Checks each member and guest into the Center. Distributes keys, towels and other equipment as needed. Provides guests with guest registry for signature. Receives payment and rings into register. Retrieves and folds towels on an on-going basis.
- Reviews "staff notes" book daily to keep informed of changes in classes, programs, leagues and special activities scheduled for the day. Posts changes in schedule.
- Knowledgeable of staff members names and the departments they work.
- Uses the established sign-up system to reserve racquetball, squash and tennis times for members, guests and staff.
- Manages program enrollment and money transactions such as guest fees, personal fitness trainer fees, membership dues and tennis lesson fees. Places monies in appropriate accounts.
- Displays a willingness to help at all times especially during peak periods. Cooperates in maintaining cleanliness and safety of front desk.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
