The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

**Required Qualifications:**
Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level or current graduate of a state-approved PCT program (CPCT)
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Association for Health Professionals upon hire **_-OR-_**
National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Center for Competency Testing upon hire **_-OR-_**
National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Healthcareer Association upon hire
**Preferred Qualifications:**
High School Diploma or GED
6 months of PCT experience in an acute care setting
6 months of phlebotomy experience
