**Associate Sterile Processing Technician, Surgery**
**$2,000.00 Sign-On Bonus for eligible rehires and external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.**
The Sterile Processing Technician I performs routine work in the decontamination, assembly, testing, and instruments in a medical facility, under the supervision of the Supervisor of Sterile Processing.

This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled.

Shift length: 8 hours
11am - 8:30pm; Monday - Friday; no weekends or holidays required.
**Required Qualifications:**
within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or
within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Coursework/Training - Vocational training in Sterile Processing, decontamination/sterilization procedures, supply distribution or related job experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical laboratory.
Coursework/Training - Sterile Processing class, training, or vocational education.
CBSPD or IAHCSMM Certification upon hire.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
