As a Grade Foreman at Covenant Constructors LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the grading and excavation phase, collaborating with project managers, and leading a skilled team to achieve project milestones efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of equipment operators, laborers, and subcontractors during the grading and excavation phase.
- Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to accurately execute the grading and excavation activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential issues or deviations from plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in construction-related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Grade Foreman or similar role in construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of grading, excavation techniques, and earthmoving equipment operation.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficient computer skills to manage project documentation and communication.
- Understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them effectively.
