Covenant Christian Academy is seeking a dependable, organized, and mission-aligned Office Manager who will also serve as a Classroom Helper. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who enjoys both administrative work and working directly with students. The successful candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented, and supportive of a structured, traditional learning environment. This dual-role position includes front office responsibilities as well as direct supervision and instructional support for students, including homeschool students who attend CCA one day per week for enrichment and STEM-based activities. The ideal candidate is structured, attentive, and comfortable managing groups of students in both traditional and non-traditional classroom settings.
*Office Management Duties:*
- Manage day-to-day front office operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records (applications, immunization records, diagnostic test results, enrollment documents, etc.)
- Order and track yearly standardized testing materials (including Iowa Assessments)
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and vendors
- Assist with scheduling, filing, data entry, and general administrative support
- Support school leadership with organizational and clerical tasks
*Assistant Teacher / Classroom Support Duties:*
- Provide classroom support to lead teachers as needed
- Assist with student supervision, organization, and task completion
- Help maintain a focused, orderly, and productive classroom environment
- Work with small groups or individual students when directed
**Qualifications:**
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working with children
- Ability to multitask and transition between office and classroom duties
