We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Living Support and Respite care for an individual with intellectual disabilities in the Monroe, NC area. Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1 support, companionship, and daily living assistance
- Assist with personal care, daily life skills, meal preparation, and medication administration as needed
- Facilitate community integration and personal goals while maintaining a safe environment
- Maintain a warm, encouraging, and supportive atmosphere
- Keep accurate, timely service documentation in accordance with agency policies
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Required: Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance
- Required: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Experience supporting individuals with Intellectual Disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
- A genuinely compassionate, patient, and heart-centered approach to care
- Location: Monroe, NC 28110
- Pay Rate: $16.75/ hour for CLS and $15.00 for Respite
- Schedule: 15 hours a week (Flexible) | Respite as needed on evenings/weekends
