What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at Covenant Case Management Services?
Covenant Case Management Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Support Professionals to provide one-on-one care for individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the individual's needs are met and providing a safe and supportive environment both in the home and the community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support, assistance, and companionship.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Ensure the individual's safety and well-being in the home and community.
- Assist the individual in completing daily living activities for a total care client
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Full time- Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 7:30AM-4PM and Thursdays 7:30am-8pm
Part time- 5:15-8pm Tues and Thurs and then Sundays 12:30-7:30pm
