Role Description
The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting clients with mortgage loan applications, evaluating their financial information, and guiding them through the mortgage process all the way through closing. The role also involves providing exceptional service, maintaining client relationships, and staying informed of industry trends and underwriting requirements. Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their financing needs and guide them through mortgage options
- Collect and review documentation, complete loan applications, and prepare files for submission
- Work with our network of wholesale lenders to get loans through underwriting and to closing
- Provide clear and timely communication to clients throughout the loan process
- Maintain knowledge of loan programs and underwriting guidelines
- Manage your pipeline and work toward production goals
Qualifications
- Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license (required)
- Experience in mortgage origination is preferred but not required (we are happy to train the right person)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with a client-focused approach
