Seasonal Line Cook – Snack Bar (Coveleigh Club, Rye, NY)
Coveleigh Club in Rye, NY is seeking dependable Seasonal Line Cooks/Snack Bar Cooks to join our fast-paced, high-volume snack bar kitchen for the upcoming season.
We are hiring for multiple stations, including:
- Sauté Cook (for our main kitchen - experience required)
- Night Grill Cook (for our main kitchen - experience required)
- Short Order Cook (willing to train)
- Pizza Maker (willing to train)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items efficiently and consistently during high-volume service
- Work assigned station (sauté, grill, short order, or pizza) with speed and accuracy
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation
- Assist with prep, stocking, and closing duties as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members during busy service periods
- Follow all recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience preferred (high-volume or club experience a plus)
- Ability to work quickly and stay organized under pressure
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Flexible availability including weekends and peak-season hours
- Food safety knowledge or certification a plus
