What are the responsibilities and job description for the RV Park Manager position at Cove Creek RV Resort?
Cove Creek RV Resort is looking for a dynamic RV Park Manager. We would consider a work couple team if there is interest as well. The RV Park Manager's duties and responsibilities are as follows, but are not limited to:
- Manage the resources of the property including staff, buildings, infrastructure, camp sites, cabins and other assets
- Attract new customers and guests through active marketing, excellent customer service, and adding value to the experience of our guests
- Prepare annual operating plans and monitor progress of actual versus projected figures on a monthly basis
- Follow and ensure accurate financial accounting procedures
- Execute routine preventative maintenance and safety programs
- Monitor physical facility on a daily basis to ensure a top tier guest experience and safe environment
- Assist in coordinating, planning and participating in special events as required.
- Coordinate retail operations to maximize quality and profitability
- Routinely inspect and ensure a top tier appearance for all property areas.
- Participate in development and execution of plans for improvement, growth and expansion
- Quickly and effectively address issues which would adversely affect the operation of the resort or guest satisfaction
- Enforce resort rules and standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years property management/campground and/or hospitality experience required.
- 3 years of supervisory experience required
- Previous sales/leasing experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience in the hospitality industry is required.
- General knowledge of operations and basic maintenance.
- Solid negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles; ability to budget income and expenses and to manage the property within prescribed financial guidelines.
- Basic computer proficiency, including email, the internet and Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexibility to respond to resort needs during non-business
- Willing to learn and be hands on
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
