Seasonal Full Time Positions Available
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Be the face of the resort and offer courteous and professional service for all internal and external guests at all times
- Maintain a steady work pace with fellow team members
- Maintain and contribute towards the resort’s preventative maintenance program
- Provide a positive guest experience by owning problems and taking them to resolution as judged by a satisfied guest
- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment
- Takes guidance on all property maintenance needs from Maintenance Supervisor or Lead.
- Handling basic minor repairs and maintenance
- Follows all Point Sebago operational and safety procedures at all times
- Assists in special projects as and when required
Required Skills/Abilities
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective long-term relationships with both guests and employees
- Ability to remain calm and professional under high stress situations
- Professional presentation and attitude
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Strong time management skills
- Eye for detail
- Analytical & creative approach to problem solving
- A passion for teamwork
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience performing routine maintenance
- Experience using tools and equipment
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work hands on with long periods walking and/or standing
- Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
