What are the responsibilities and job description for the COOK - 19th Hole Golf Course position at Cove Communities?
Point Sebago Resort
Our cooks help to ensure our guests have a wonderful experience by preparing food following established protocols. This position is seasonal.
Reports to: 19th Hole Manager
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Keep all areas of the kitchen clean and organized.
- Must be able to work off a prep list.
- Prepare all menu items to order.
- Assist in putting deliveries away.
- Maintain quality and consistency in all products.
- Stock product for next day.
- Must clean all equipment at the end of each shift.
- Must be able to work closely with the front of house to assure guests are satisfied.
- Keep all food diary up to date
- Supports and follows Cove Communities and Point Sebago policy at all times.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Superior customer service skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to function well in a high pace, sometimes high stress environment
- Comfortable effectively communicating with all levels of guests and staff
- Must be able to stand for long hours on your feet.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to handle high kitchen temperatures
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
