Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Cashier/Cook to join our team. This dual-role position combines food preparation, customer service, and cashiering duties to ensure a seamless experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent time management, food handling skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Operate POS systems for retail sales transactions and food orders
- Manage customer orders with accuracy, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including kitchen equipment, counters, and dining area
- Provide friendly customer service by addressing questions, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Skills
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong cash handling skills with the ability to process transactions accurately
- Excellent time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations and cash register operations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Pay: From $11.00 per hour
