Role Description The Repair Technician role is a full-time remote position that supports customers and on-site teams with repair-related needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing repair issues, guiding customers through troubleshooting steps, and coordinating with field crews for roofing, siding, deck, window and door repairs. The technician may review photos, videos, and service reports, recommend solutions, and help schedule or prioritize repair work. This role also involves documenting repair requests, maintaining records in company systems, and following up to support customer satisfaction. The Repair Technician collaborates closely with customer service and operations teams to ensure timely, accurate, and safe repair outcomes.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in troubleshooting home repairs, with the ability to identify and recommend solutions for roof, gutters, soffit, facia, siding, windows, doors, and deck home repair issues.
- Experience with equipment maintenance, including basic preventative care, safety awareness, and familiarity with tools and materials used in residential repair work.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction, with a service-minded approach and the ability to handle questions, concerns, and follow-ups professionally.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to work with customers, field technicians, and internal teams in a remote environment.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple repair requests, documenting work, and updating systems accurately.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and use remote collaboration tools (phone, email, video, and job management software).
- Experience in construction, roofing, siding, decking, or related home improvement trades is preferred but not required.
