Maintaining clean, sanitized dishes, cookware, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to support efficient culinary operations.
Operating commercial dishwashing equipment safely while ensuring all items meet cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Cleaning kitchen floors, walls, floor mats, drains, workstations, storage areas, loading docks, and back-of-house spaces throughout each shift.
Removing trash, recycling, food waste, and grease while maintaining clean and organized waste disposal areas.
Keeping walk-in refrigerators, freezers, storage rooms, and receiving areas clean, organized, and guest-ready.
Supporting Culinary team members by maintaining an adequate supply of clean dishes, cookware, and service equipment during busy meal periods.
Safely handling cleaning chemicals, sanitation products, and commercial cleaning equipment according to established procedures.
Monitoring dishwashing equipment and reporting maintenance concerns or equipment issues promptly.
Working collaboratively with Culinary and Food & Beverage team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Following all food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and environmental standards throughout every shift.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous stewarding, dishwashing, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper chemical handling procedures preferred.
Ability to safely operate commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning tools.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative Culinary team.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs.
Bilingual English/Spanish Communication Skills Preferred, But Not Required.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, squat, and move safely throughout kitchen and storage areas.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, including racks of dishes, cookware, food products, and cleaning supplies.
Ability to push and pull carts, dish racks, and equipment weighing up to 250 pounds.
Ability to safely operate commercial dishwashing equipment, cleaning equipment, and sanitation tools.
Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot kitchen environments, steam, dishwashing areas, refrigerators, and freezers.
Ability to work safely around wet floors, cleaning chemicals, sharp utensils, and commercial kitchen equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
