- Supporting Room Attendants with cleaning tasks, moving furniture, and replenishing guestroom amenities.
- Delivering fresh linens, towels, amenities, and housekeeping supplies to guest rooms and service areas.
- Removing trash and soiled linens from guest rooms and designated housekeeping areas.
- Maintaining clean, organized, and guest-ready public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and elevators.
- Restocking supplies throughout public areas and housekeeping spaces.
- Assisting with special cleaning projects, seasonal tasks, and other projects as assigned by Housekeeping leadership.
- Safely operating housekeeping carts, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment.
- Monitoring housekeeping supplies and communicating inventory needs to Supervisors.
- Organizing and properly storing equipment, linens, cleaning products, and other housekeeping materials.
- Following Coury Hospitality safety standards when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Reporting maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged property, or other issues to the appropriate Housekeeping or Engineering team member.
- Protecting guest privacy and maintaining confidentiality while working throughout the hotel.
- Communicating with Room Attendants, Housekeeping Supervisors, Front Office, and other departments to support daily operations.
- Helping new Housepersons or temporary staff learn housekeeping procedures and expectations when needed.
- Staying flexible and jumping in wherever the Housekeeping team needs additional support.
- You take pride in keeping a hotel clean, organized, and welcoming.
- You understand that Housekeeping is an essential part of the overall guest experience.
- You have strong attention to detail and take pride in completing tasks correctly.
- You are dependable and comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player.
- You can manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks throughout a busy shift.
- You are comfortable working on your feet and performing physically active tasks throughout the day.
- You are willing to learn and follow proper cleaning, sanitation, safety, and chemical-handling procedures.
- You communicate clearly with coworkers and leadership when you notice supply needs, maintenance concerns, or other operational issues.
- You are respectful of guest privacy and understand the importance of professionalism when working in guest areas.
- You bring a positive attitude and are willing to help wherever needed to support your team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn and safely operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning tools.
- Ability to follow safety, sanitation, chemical-handling, and guest privacy procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Housekeeping leadership, Room Attendants, Front Office, Engineering, and other hotel teams.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including mornings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive cleaning and restocking tasks.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts and other equipment.
- Ability to safely operate vacuums, housekeeping carts, and other cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work throughout guest rooms, hallways, elevators, public spaces, restrooms, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and products while following all required safety procedures.
- Ability to maintain physical stamina and productivity throughout an active shift.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and attention to detail while working in guest-facing areas.
