TIRED OF BEING A DIESEL MECHANIC/TECHICIAN, TRY YOUR HAND AS A PARTS COUNTER PERSON FOR THE SHOP, NOT FRONT COUNTER WITH CUSOMERS
Parts Counterperson Responsibilities:
- Oversee the parts sales process for jobs in the shop from start to finish
- Locate any parts not in stock
- Complete special order part request for the Service Manager
- Communicate with Service Manager on parts status
- Communicate with staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Identify parts on factory sites. (Cummins, Mack, Caterpillar, Meritor, and more)
Parts Counterperson Qualifications:
- Have 3 years of Heavy Duty Truck experience preferred
- Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Have strong organizational and time management skills
- Are detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
· Strong computer, phone, written and verbal communication skills
· Able to pass pre-employment drug test and random during employment
- Must be familiar with computers
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
- Dependability
- ADP/CDK knowledge would be great but not needed
