What are the responsibilities and job description for the AM Bistro Server position at Courtyard Marriott-Raynham, MA?
The Bistro Server will be responsible for taking guest orders, preparing food and Starbucks beverages.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Takes orders and serves meals and beverages promptly and courteously
- Communicates additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, or special requests to the kitchen
- Prepares and cooks food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food preparation checklists
- Processes all orders and collects payment from customers
- Assists with busing, cleaning, and resetting tables, delivering food to guests, and cleaning food and beverage prep areas
- Maintains cleanliness of work areas and follows all safety and sanitary guidelines
- Completes opening and closing duties as required, including setup and cleanup of all areas
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required; some post-high school education or training preferred
- Prior food service experience desired
- Knowledge and skills in health and sanitation standards and procedures for food safety
- Requires standing to a significant degree
- Able to work a flexible schedule that will include early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent customer service focus
- Pleasant, professional, and helpful demeanor
