Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all spaces are tidy and well-maintained.
- Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as required.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies in accordance with established protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring all linens and uniforms are cleaned and organized.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and janitorial practices is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
