Courtyard is seeking an experienced Community Relations Director to lead sales, marketing, outreach, and census development efforts for our senior living community and medical adult day care center in Clinton, New Jersey. This leadership role is responsible for building strong relationships with prospective residents, participants, families, professional referral sources, and community partners, while driving occupancy growth, maintaining budgeted census goals, and supporting revenue performance across both service lines.
The Community Relations Director will oversee all phases of the sales and marketing process, including lead generation, follow-up, tours, move-ins, participant enrollment, community outreach, events, and social media strategy. This individual will work closely with leadership to strengthen market presence, expand referral relationships, and support sustained census and occupancy success for both the senior living community and medical adult day care center.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all community sales, marketing, and outreach efforts to achieve and maintain budgeted occupancy, census, and revenue goals for the senior living community and medical adult day care center.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective residents, adult day care participants, families, referral sources, hospitals, physicians, case managers, social workers, and other professional providers of care.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including inquiries, follow-up, tours, assessments, deposits, move-ins, enrollments, and transitions.
- Ensure all inquiries are handled promptly, professionally, and consistently, with strong follow-through.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate quarterly marketing plans and competitive market analyses in collaboration with leadership.
- Plan and execute monthly special events designed to attract prospects, strengthen referral relationships, and increase visibility for both the senior living community and adult day care center.
- Oversee and manage the community’s social media platforms and external marketing presence.
- Track sales activity, lead conversion, occupancy trends, adult day care census trends, and marketing performance to support strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with the President and leadership team to identify opportunities for revenue growth and market expansion across both programs.
- Develop and deliver effective training related to sales, outreach, customer experience, and community representation.
- Participate in weekend coverage.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, community relations, or business development, preferably in senior living, medical adult day care, healthcare, hospital outreach, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in driving occupancy, increasing census, and supporting revenue growth.
- Prior leadership experience in a senior living community, adult day care center, or healthcare environment strongly preferred.
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
