- Handle laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas like hallways, lobbies, and restrooms through regular janitorial tasks.
- Use cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, and window cleaning tools to achieve optimal results.
- Follow proper manual handling procedures when lifting heavy furniture or supplies to prevent injury.
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) during all cleaning activities to maintain health and safety standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects like window washing or deep cleaning using pressure washing techniques.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution.
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in commercial or hospitality environments.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and sanitation procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing or stripping is a plus.
- Knowledge of infection control practices relevant to hospitality settings enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently is essential.
