Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain floors through proper care techniques including carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and buffing to ensure a pristine appearance
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health standards, paying special attention to kitchens and bathrooms
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs with professionalism and friendliness
- Manage custodial tasks such as waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling and inventory control
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety protocols in cleaning practices
- Ability to perform floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Skilled in laundry operations with attention to detail in handling delicate fabrics and linens
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and carpet extractors
