Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair facilities equipment using schematics, electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters, hand tools, and welding techniques.
• Conduct repairs on electrical systems including wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Maintain building interior by executing painting (including residential painting), carpentry, drywall repairs, and general facilities maintenance tasks.
• Repair and service plumbing systems—address leaks, clogs, pipe repairs—and ensure plumbing system functionality.
• Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately; document all maintenance activities thoroughly.
• Lead small maintenance projects when necessary, demonstrating leadership in coordinating tasks with team members or contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities while providing excellent customer service to staff and guests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building repair roles with knowledge of HVAC system repair, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of schematics, electrical equipment repair, HVAC systems including HVAC system repair experience.
• Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, and familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; experience with maintenance painting is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; capable of explaining technical issues clearly to team members or non-technical staff.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces as needed.
