Duties

• Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing.
• Sort, load, and unload laundry materials using push carts and other materials handling tools while adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensure proper use of laundry detergents and cleaning agents, following safety standards in production to prevent contamination or accidents.
• Handle heavy lifting tasks safely when moving large loads of linens or textiles across the facility.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of laundry areas by following strict hygiene procedures and safety standards.
• Monitor laundry processes for quality control, ensuring textiles are cleaned thoroughly without damage.
• Assist with customer service by responding promptly to guest requests related to laundry services and providing a friendly, professional experience.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, laundry services, or textile cleaning within a hotel or similar environment.
• Knowledge of garment care machine operation including industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines.
• Ability to handle materials safely with proper manual handling techniques and adherence to safety protocols.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating loads or processing times accurately.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest interactions.
• Familiarity with laundry detergents, sanitation procedures, and textile care best practices.
